On Friday 13th February 2015 the whole school will be involved in a charity day to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK. The day will be led by Tynemouth House pupils who have chosen to support these worthy causes as their nominated charities.
We ask that pupils donate a minimum of £1.00 for the chosen charities. They will be allowed to attend school in non-uniform and will mark their support for our chosen charities by wearing a onesie or non-uniform. We must point out that, although pupils are not required to wear school uniform, they must be dressed modestly and appropriately as is the norm on non-uniform events.
Other proposed activities throughout the day will include:
A picture quiz during registration
Cake and juice sale at break time in ‘Food for Thought’ (pupils should bring 50p for this)
Staff marshmallow eating challenge!
Dance competition at lunchtime in Septimus Hall (entry 50p)
We hope that all pupils will take an active part in this day and that they will have some fun and raise money for some very worthwhile charities.
